To discover or practice near the campsite

You could take advantage of surroundings of our campsite of Charente-Maritime, thanks to its closeness with some very interesting sites. We are lucky to be situated in a very rich region, in the lovely landscapes and in the typical villages.
We are for equal distance between Royan and Palmyre with its Zoo and its fine sand beaches.
You will have the possibility of buying your tickets of the Zoo of Palmyre at the reception of the campsite, to avoid lines, very long during the high season and with a 1€ of reduction.
To tan, get back to the beaches of « La Grande Cote » (5 km) or « La Cote Sauvage » by joining Ronce Les Bains where the surfers like finding themselves.
Without forgetting the long beaches of Royan who lines the city center so you can reach the market in feet every morning and admire the architecture of Royan city classified year 50.
You will be charmed by Saint Palais sur Mer with its pedestrian path which goes along the coast, the villas Beautiful Time « Belle-Époque » and « Carrelets » these footbridges put on stilts, recognized as heritage of Charente-Maritime.
In the estuary of the Gironde, you will perceive the Lighthouse of Cordouan always so majestic, the visit is made by boat on reservation from Royan.
Come to discover « Grottes de Régulus and Matata », atypical tourist place situated between Royan and Talmont on Gironde in Meschers sur Gironde, dive into the stories and the legends of these troglodytic houses which were dug by the sea. You will discover along this road, small creeks of fine sand...
Then continue towards Talmont sur Gironde " in the most beautiful villages of France ": in 15 km in the South of Royan, on a rocky headland overhanging the estuary of the Gironde, the Church Sainte-Radegonde symbol of the region Poitou-Charentes dominates the village and its small cemetery where grow hollyhocks.
